While we were out paddling we came across mother duck and her new born chicks. It was amazing how small they were. They couldn’t be more than a week old. And what was more amazing was that they followed their mother everywhere! Wow, I wonder how they train their kids to stay with them. I guess the ones that don’t follow aren’t around any more. With Zig-Zag Taylor steering our paddle boat these chicks were in constant danger.
